My mother decided to relax in the Bashkir village of Assy for a reason. Some time ago, one of the Chelyabinsk TV channels showed a story that there are more than 20 mineral springs here. The correspondent ran with a mug from one to another and told how tasty the water was in them. Mom stocked up on mugs, and we hit the road.
The village of Assy is located 180 kilometers from Ufa, in the Beloretsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in the Ural Mountains on the banks of the Inzer River. The road to it is very picturesque: mountains, rocks, and forests. There are no enterprises near the village, so there is the cleanest air, which is already healing in itself. And besides springs with mineral water, there are many medicinal herbs in the forests, and they, grown in an ecologically clean area, have an amazing effect.
Larch Secret
Housing in the village of Assy was found by asking local residents. Less than two hundred rubles per person per day - and we have at our disposal half of the larch house with cleanly washed floors, as well as the pride of the hostess - a color TV. According to locals, this is a feature of larch houses: they do not let heat in from the street. Accordingly, they practically do not release it in the winter.
We found one source of mineral water on the main village street. The rest were scattered in and around the village. True, the mother did not find the place shown in the TV program, despite the fact that she recognized the sanatorium and the mountain river flashed in the plot. You need to be careful when swimming in it - the current is too strong there. I almost drowned, after which I remembered the rule that it is forbidden to enter the water in unfamiliar and not equipped places. All the next five days we went swimming only at the lake and took baths from mineral water, for which I ran to the source with buckets.
Water as the main wealth
Springs are the main wealth of the village. There are several of them, the water in each has truly unique properties. There are two types of mineral water in them: low-mineralized (used for medicinal drinking) and highly mineralized. The latter is used for treatment, you can drink it only if you dilute it with the usual one.
The magical effect of healing waters can be felt immediately. On the very first day when we went to the river, I decided to wash myself in a spring located next to the house. The sensation of dry skin instantly disappeared. For comparison: after the Chelyabinsk water, I have to immediately use a moisturizer, because otherwise the skin tightens to the point of pain. There was nothing like that. Problems with hair immediately disappeared: I literally washed my hair twice in mineral water, and my hair acquired such a shine that happens after salon procedures. But the main thing is that my hair stopped electrifying and hitting me with static electricity. However, my mother was the luckiest in this regard: her blond hair became not only more shiny, but also burned out in the local sun and acquired a chic golden hue.
By the way, for some reason, an artificial lake near the sanatorium was filled with plain water. At the same time, visitors were sure that they were bathing in mineral water. In the meantime, geese bathed in it: a mineral stream flows through the entire village into the Inzer River. No one thought to send it to the lake. The geese, which did not get out of the mineral water, had dazzling white beautiful feathers - this is how the daily “treatment” externally affected them.
To the lake - in a veil
Every evening we watched TV shows, and during the day we walked through the forest and climbed the mountains for healing herbs for tea. For example, my mother collected field carnations (popularly, this flower is called “watch”). Three sprigs (no more) per cup of tea - and the healing drink is ready. After ten days of such tea drinking, the kidneys begin to worry less. My mother had no sharp pains that prevented her from sleeping. In total, dozens of medicinal herbs and berries grow in these mountains.
Nevertheless, days similar to each other were distinguished by a mass of events unknown to the city dweller. In the mountains I was waiting for a meeting with reptiles. But I reacted in time to a strange movement two meters away from us and froze in place. "Don't move, they don't attack first," Mother instructed curtly. It became more difficult to portray the monument after several more joined one snake and crawled towards us. However, they, fortunately, were interested in the descent to the lake, and not us.
At the lake, meanwhile, all the vacationers froze - a woman came to swim, dressed in accordance with all Sharia laws. She entered the water under the supervision of a ten-year-old boy, dressed in a "Muslim swimsuit" - a closed robe that did not hide only her feet, fingers and face. By the way, no one paid attention to us walking around the village in ordinary clothes - the vast majority of local residents wore the same. For five days we saw only two women dressed according to the "rules".
... After the vacation, I gave my mother a large mug for mineral water, and she promptly chose the place where we would go next time. He was also well described in one of the TV programs, so I'm already preparing for surprises in advance.
